The 88th meeting, held at Bletchley Park addressed the key topic of the role of materials in gas sensing.
The sizeable audience were provided with a series of excellent presentations from international speakers representing industry and academia. The subjects included
- Sensor material preparation and manufacturing methods
- The use of powerful data processing techniques to enhance the information which can be extracted from traditional approaches
- Applications in medical and explosive species detection.
The day featured the usual opportunities for delegate interactions and discussions, and was further enhanced by fascinating lunchtime tours of the world-famous codebreaking site provided by expert guides.
